What are CreditPoints?
CreditPoints are the virtual currency at archinoah.
Some services at archinoah are paid for with CreditPoints. Equally you receive CreditPoints for your uploads and entries.
You can use archinoah free of charge by providing your own uploads for other users to download.
You can view your CreditPoint status in your CreditPoint account.
Some services can thus only be used as long as you have sufficient CreditPoints on your account.

Is there a starting contingent of CreditPoints?
Yes, every user gets a starting contingent of CreditPoints at registration. This is ususally enough to make at least one download.
Currently the starting contingent is 10 CreditPoint(s).
What options are there to get new CreditPoints?

What is paid for with CreditPoints?
Some services of archinoah are paid for with CreditPoints, e.g. most downloads. Before any CreditPoints are deducted from your account you will be informed about the number of CreditPoints this download will cost you next to the download link.
How many CreditPoints costs a download?
From June 2011 on there no longer exist uniform, category-dependent charge. Each download, depending on quality, scope and other criteria, renders different charges. The accurate costs are pointed out next to every download link.
How many CreditPoints do I receive for an upload or database entry?
Generally you always receive way more CreditPoints for any upload or entry than for an equal download. Additionally you receive long-term CreditPoints for every time another user downloads your file. We will explain this in detail later on.
For uploads or entries you can receive varying CreditPoints:
- Basis points are assigned only once.
- Extra points may be assigned by archinoah for the fulfillment of further criteria.

How many CreditPoints do I get for downloads of my files from other users?
Each time your file is downloaded by another user you receive additional CreditPoints. The exact amount of CreditPoints assigned is depending on the number of CreditPoints you initially received for your upload. The initial number of CreditPoints will be multiplied depending on the category uploaded to with the following factor:

How many CreditPoints do I receive if my upload gets good ratings by other users?
If other users rate your upload with 5 to 10 points you will receive accordingly 1:1 extra CreditPoints, e.g. for a rating of 5 you will be assigned 5 extra CreditPoints, for a rating of 8 you get 8 CreditPoints.
